Memory Lane’s Premier Auction is drawing the attention of sports card enthusiasts around the world with its exclusive collection of 120 vintage cards. This meticulously curated event, available for bidding until February 4th, showcases a limited yet impressive selection of high-grade cards that hold both historical significance and immense value.

One of the crown jewels of the auction is the 1909 T204 Ramly Walter Johnson rookie card. With only two in existence in NM/MT condition graded PSA 8, it comes as no surprise that this rare gem quickly reached a six-figure bid. Equally captivating is the T206 Ty Cobb Portrait (Green) card. With only three copies graded PSA 7, its inclusion in the auction is a testament to its rarity. Also highly sought-after is the PSA 6 Cobb ‘Bat Off Shoulder’ Old Mill back card.

The pre-war era is well-represented in the auction. A PSA 7 graded T206 Cy Young card offers collectors a chance to own a piece of baseball history. The highest graded PSA 9 T206 Nap Lajoie (Throwing) card is another standout item, showcasing its rarity and desirability. However, one of the true highlights of the auction is the 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle card in PSA 9 grade. With only 13 cards at this level and just two known to be graded higher, it is an absolute gem for any collector.

Mickey Mantle’s legacy continues to shine in the auction, with six additional cards from the 1950s. Each one graded either 8 or 9, these cards, including prized versions from the 1953 Topps and Bowman series, will surely captivate any Mantle fan.

Roberto Clemente’s cards from 1956 to 1973 dominate the auction. With numerous Mint 9 graded cards available, Clemente’s presence commands attention. In fact, his cards outnumber those of other players. Willie Mays also features prominently, with exceptional cards such as a rare 1962 Topps card graded PSA 9, as well as a 1970 Topps card, one of only two graded PSA 10.

Not to be forgotten is the collection of Jackie Robinson cards. Four of his cards are up for auction, including PSA graded versions of his 1949 Bowman and 1952 Topps issues. Additionally, collectors have the opportunity to bid on PSA 10 rookie cards of baseball legends George Brett and Rickey Henderson.

Football enthusiasts will find high-grade rookie cards of Frank Gifford, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Namath, adding excitement to an already impressive lineup. Meanwhile, basketball collectors will not be disappointed, as the auction offers rookie cards of Bill Russell (PSA 7), Wilt Chamberlain (PSA 8), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (PSA 8), Larry Bird/Magic Johnson (PSA 9), and Michael Jordan (PSA 8).
